Fabiola & Al:: USC Engagement Session

Fabiola and Al are both USC Alumni. We shot Al’s best man’s wedding last year (who also went to USC) so we know just how hard core these alum’s are!! I swear it’s completely different when both the bride and groom are from USC…They had double the school spirit!! USC alum’s are definitely not one’s to mess with!

We had the chance to drive up to LA to meet these two at USC (Where else?!) to shoot their engagement session. We have been to the campus a few times now but each time it just gets better. The campus is small yet so beautiful. It was so great to hear all the history of the campus from the both of them also! We had the chance to walk around and really take our time with them. Once the sun set, we headed over to the LACMA to shoot some pictures in front of their light exhibit. Both are just naturals on camera as you can see.

Daniel Family Pictures:: Balboa Park

Daniel contacted us for family pictures with his immediate family and we suggested they do it at Balboa Park since there is such a wide range of different backgrounds to satisfy everyone. What a great family and all sharply dressed!

Zakkayya and Matthew’s:: Steele Canyon Golf Course Wedding

Zakkayya and I met back in high school. It was such an honor when she asked us to shoot her wedding! They had their reception at Steel Canyon Golf Course in Jamul. I have to say out of all the weddings we have done….this one was by far the most intimate and passionate one we have been asked to be a part of. These two have been living on separate coast for sometime now…you could just tell that they were ready to be married!! We had the opportunity to work with Dave from Hit It Music Productions (http://www.hititmusic.com/). DJ is such a great DJ and really reads the crowd so well. The dance floor wasn’t empty for a second!!!

Z and M: Your love is contagious! The passion you two feel for one another is one of a kind! I know you two will have many, many years of great memories ahead!!! I hope you are enjoying the east coast together!!!

Kat and Aldo:: Old Town Engagement Session

Kat and Aldo decided to do their engagement session in Old Town. We hardly ever have the chance to do engagement sessions in Old Town and we love it!!! There is so much variety there and just a lot of fun to shoot at. Kat and Aldo are such a great, down-to-earth couple. We can’t wait to share their wedding pictures!!!

Rhea Family Pictures:: Balboa Park

If you are followers of the blog…you know this family! They have been with us since we started and cannot wait to see these two kiddos grow up!!! We met Rhea, Nate and Meg’s in Balboa Park for Meg’s 4th birthday pictures!!! These two are naturals in front of the camera!

Alicia & Jason:: Falkner Winery

Alicia and Jason were married at Falkner Winery in Temecula. What a FUN wedding!!! Both sides of the family were just an absolute pleasure to work with. Jason and his Mom, hands down had THE best mother/son dance!!! They danced to a melody of dance favorites and killed it!!!

Alicia and Jason: You two are amazing! Thank you for having us join you and your families in your wedding day! We wish you both the best!!!

Best Buddies Ball

Since we started over five years ago, we always believed that we should give back in anyway, shape or form that we can. My friend Michele and I go back to when we were in high school. Michele is seriously one of the most generous people I know! She does so much for others that when she asked if we would photograph an event she was putting together, of course we said yes!

Best Buddies is an organization that was started by the Kennedy-Shriever family in the 80’s. It was a club to create one to one friendships with people with and without disabilities. This “club” “organization” is in middle schools, high schools, and in colleges it also helps adults find jobs.

The ball was started by Rancho Bernardo High School’s Best Buddies Chapter as a way to get all the clubs in San Diego involved in an event together, this past year was it’s 3rd year and we had over 350 high school students that attended, from more than 15 different schools in San Diego.

Thank you Michele for inviting us to be a part of such an amazing event!! The kids all had a wonderful time!! You could tell by the smile on each and every one of their faces!
