If you are followers of the blog…you know this family! They have been with us since we started and cannot wait to see these two kiddos grow up!!! We met Rhea, Nate and Meg’s in Balboa Park for Meg’s 4th birthday pictures!!! These two are naturals in front of the camera!
Alicia and Jason were married at Falkner Winery in Temecula. What a FUN wedding!!! Both sides of the family were just an absolute pleasure to work with. Jason and his Mom, hands down had THE best mother/son dance!!! They danced to a melody of dance favorites and killed it!!!

Since we started over five years ago, we always believed that we should give back in anyway, shape or form that we can. My friend Michele and I go back to when we were in high school. Michele is seriously one of the most generous people I know! She does so much for others that when she asked if we would photograph an event she was putting together, of course we said yes!
To say we have been busy, is an understatement!!! We welcomed our newest addition Avery to our family on July 2nd! We took a little time off in August but we are back and ready for wedding season in full gear!!

Stacy and Dwayne were married at The Crossings in Carlsbad. They both love to golf so this location was a no-brainier. The Crossings has a beautiful golf course right near the Flower Bed’s and Legoland. They are both pretty laid back people so shooting their wedding was easy! You could see the love between them from the moment we met them months before and knew their wedding would be a great time!
Ashley and Mike were married at the Bahia. They live in Colorado with their adorable son (who shares the same birthday as Landon) and had a great destination wedding! The Bahia is a great resort to look into if you are getting married, it’s located on the bay side of Mission Beach and the grounds have a very private, beachy feel. The service is always great there. Ashley and Mike had been together for quite some time before they tied the knot and you knew everyone in the room were very excited to share their day with them.
We had the chance to work with one of our favorite DJ’s David Cutler http://www.hititmusic.com/. Dave is a great DJ who truly works for the bride and groom and ensures that your day runs smoothly. We highly recommend him if you are looking for a DJ!
Ashley & Mike: We had a great time at your wedding!!! We wish you guys tons and tons of happiness and should you guys eventually decide to move to San Diego call us!!! 😉
We love when we get to shoot a family more than once. When they have little ones it always adds to the fun! It’s so amazing how fast kids grow and to see the difference year to year is a perk of the job! We were excited when Shanna asked us to photograph her family again this year. They are such an easy family to work with and a lot of fun! We also got the chance to meet her new little guy! We shot this session at a private park in Fairbanks Ranch.
Hoang and Jan were married at a private residence in Jamul. This couple has truly done it all together! From traveling the world, to sky diving, to living in their RV on the bay. They had a low-key wedding with many of their favorite touches! They brought in their favorite Thai food from a vendor at the La Jolla Farmer’s Market that they frequent. Jan’s sister did an awesome fire dance as well.

We have shot at this park a ton of times and absolutely love it. There is so many different backgrounds to have fun with. Amanda and Derek not only did their engagement session here they will also be getting married here in May!
Cristina and Ben were married at Admiral Kidd Club. Anyone who has been following us knows that this place holds a special place in Trav and my heart. We were married there 5 years ago now! The view is just jaw dropping at this location. You have the PERFECT view of the downtown skyline and you are right on the bay. Who doesn’t love that?! Every wedding we do here you can just tell how much the guests are enjoying and taking in the view especially those from out of town. But enough about that….back to Cristina and Ben. These two are just good people. Both so easy to photograph and ready to have fun. They love disc golf and Hawaii and both those themes you saw all over the reception decor. I particularly loved the plumeria bouquet! I seriously didn’t think it would last through the night but it did!
