We absolutely LOVE Heather & Andy. We knew from the moment we met them that these two were going to be more than clients but friends to us as well!
We had the chance to shoot their engagement session on an early Sunday morning at Cabrillo National Monument. If you know us..you know that we LOVE shooting at this location. It holds so many dear memories for us!

I have known Marlene and Walter for many, many years now. I have watched Walter grow up since his brother and I were freshman in high school together. We have all been through so much together and I was so excited when Marlene contacted me for some maternity pictures! She had some great ideas and brought so many cute props.They are expected little Mia Brianna in July and we can't wait to meet her!!Marlene & Walter: It's so amazing for me to see the two of you as excited parents to be! I know that you will spoil that little girl and I am sure that the entire family is happy to welcome her into the family!!A special shout out to my BFF Leilani for assisting and working her butt off on this shoot with me! We have been looking forward to this wedding for a long, long time now. We have known Laney & Steve for many, many years now through our BFF Justin ;). When we were asked to be a part of their wedding we knew it would be amazing. They were married at San Diego Botanical Garden with the reception at Hilton Garden Inn in Carlsbad right across from the beach.They had a funny, light-hearted ceremony followed by a reception were everyone was ready to have a good time. There is just something about a groom who just adores his soon to be wife that melts my heart every time. They started the reception with their engagement video which may be the best ones I've seen! The reception was filled with a Dancing Queen serenade by the brides aunts and by far my favorite part of the entire day…the grooms father showing us all his moves on the dance floor.Laney & Steve: Thank you both so so much for including us on your day and making the two of us feel so special. We just know you guys had a fun two week honeymoon in Hawaii! We wish you two all the best in the world.
Ira & Mike re-newed their vows a few weeks ago here in San Diego. The wedding was held at North Chapel in Pt. Loma at Liberty Station with the reception at Oceanview Room also in Pt. Loma.Ira & Mike were married ten years ago and decided it was time to have the wedding they always wanted with their two beautiful girls in tow. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception!We always love when we are able to work with a great team of other vendors. We had the chance to work with Side-by-Side video who did a great job capturing the day on video. Even Harrison of Ooh La La Weddings did an amazing job coordinating the entire day and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
Two already?! I remember when Lily was born. Time flies! We headed up to Lily's birthday party a couple weeks ago and got the birthday girl in action.. what else does a 2 year old do on her birthday but play with balloons and fly a kite! Lily's older sister, Ella makes an appearance in this post as well. I swear these kids need to get into modeling!!!
We had the pleasure of shooting Alessandra and Mike's Engagement pictures at Balboa park back at the end of March. I am behind I know :). They are a very cool couple and had great chemistry that really shows in there pix. Enjoy!!
Owen & Leilani are Trav & my best friends. We love these two to death and we were lucky enough recently to be a part of their amazing Maui wedding!!! Prior to the wedding Leilani had a fun idea to take pictures of her, Owen and their adorable French Bulldog Pudge around Balboa Park to be used for their table numbers.This is a GREAT idea for a fun and unique way to do table numbers. We had a complete blast with them coming up with 25 different and fun ideas to have at each table. The guests LOVED them at their wedding!Leilani & Owen: You know how much the two of you mean to us! The best friends anyone could ask for. The four of us have been through so so much together that the bond can never be broken! Looking forward to Europe 2011!!!!
