Military Family Session in San Diego

Jen contacted me short notice and let me know that her husband Giovanni was soon to be deployed and she wanted to get some family pictures of the two of them together and their newborn kiddo. I jumped at the chance. At moments like that, I realize just how important pictures really are. They will be seperated for an extended period of time and the both of them will be able to look back at these pictures until they are reunited.

We met them at a local park near there home and had a great time getting pictures of the three of them together.

Jen & Giovanni: It was a pleasure meeting the both of you. It’s amazing what you are doing for this county and we are so proud. We cannot wait until you return and we are able to shoot the reunion pictures!!

Melissa and Kevin’s Balboa Park and Coronado Ferry Landing Engagement Session

It was a cold and windy day the day we shot Melissa and Kevin’s engagement session. These two were troopers though and you probably can’t even tell from the pictures how cold it was that day! We started in Balboa Park with these two and got some great shots there. After that we headed over to Coronado’s Ferry Landing for some additional pictures. These two get married in a few weeks and we are looking forward to their big day!

Old Poway Park Family Session

We had the opportunity to shoot Janelle’s family pictures at Old Poway Park recently. Old Poway Park is a very popular place for pictures especially family pictures! We were able to do the shoot on a weekday afternoon and the place was empty!!! Perfect when taking pictures of two infants and a toddler!! Shooting three very small kids can sometimes be a huge challenge but these three were troopers!!!

Mariah and Rene’s San Diego Prado Wedding

We’ve had an awesome time getting to know Mariah and Rene. We had the opportunity to shoot their engagement session on the USC campus earlier this year. They were married at the Prado. The Prado is such a great location. It’s right in the middle of Balboa Park. If you choose to do the ceremony there they have a great fountain area for the reception and since you are already at Balboa Park there are numerous places to take pictures all over the park. They had a very quaint wedding which is always nice. Even with a smaller sized crowd the guests were ready to have a good time. The dance floor was packed all night long!

Mariah & Rene: You guys are awesome! It’s been so fun spending time with the two of you!! Every time I hear of USC I will ALWAYS think of you guys!
